If you believe CipherDriveâ„¢ is being used for abuse, exploitation, malware distribution, phishing, stolen data, threats, or other prohibited activity, you can report it to Ackaia.
For abuse reports, contact:
abuse@ackaia.com
Examples include suspected:
child sexual abuse material or child exploitation;
malware or ransomware distribution;
phishing;
fraud;
stolen data;
credible threats or severe harassment;
Public Link abuse;
attempts to evade CipherDrive safety systems;
other serious violations of applicable Ackaia policies.
Copyright complaints can follow a separate copyright-reporting process.
Where available and safe to provide, include:
the relevant CipherDrive Public Link or object reference;
a clear description of the issue;
why you believe the activity violates policy or law;
dates and approximate times;
relevant screenshots or supporting evidence;
your contact information if follow-up is appropriate;
law-enforcement, legal, or claimant references where relevant.
No. Do not expose yourself to harmful or illegal material merely to create evidence for a report.
If a link, message, screenshot, filename, account reference, or other available context is enough to identify the issue, provide that instead.
Ackaia may review available information including:
Public Link status and activity;
account and object metadata;
technical risk signals;
Risk Assessment Engine indicators;
prior abuse reports;
security events;
moderation and enforcement records;
legal or law-enforcement references;
other relevant information available within Ackaia's technical architecture.
Not necessarily.
Because CipherDrive uses zero-knowledge storage for supported file workflows, Ackaia may be technically unable to decrypt a stored file. Abuse review can still proceed using Public Link behavior, metadata, technical signals, reports, and other evidence.
Depending on severity and confidence, Ackaia may:
disable a Public Link;
restrict sharing;
preserve relevant records;
restrict or suspend an account;
terminate an account;
apply regional restrictions;
report suspected illegal activity;
cooperate with lawful authorities where appropriate.
Matters involving imminent risk of death, serious physical harm, child exploitation, credible threats of violence, active malware, ransomware, or other severe harm may receive priority review.
If there is an immediate emergency, also contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authority in your jurisdiction.
Do not send private cryptographic keys, passwords, vault secrets, or recovery material as part of an abuse report.
