You can create an Ackaia ID through the official Ackaia ID registration flow when signing up directly or when an Ackaia product redirects you to create an account.
The current signup experience begins by asking for:
an email address; and
an initial account alias.
The registration interface currently describes this as the first step of a multi-step account-creation process.
Start from an official Ackaia product or Ackaia ID interface.
If a product such as CipherDriveâ„¢ requires authentication and you do not yet have an Ackaia ID, the product may redirect you to Ackaia ID to complete registration.
Provide an email address you control and can continue to access.
Your email can be important for account communication, security notices, verification, and recovery. Keep it current after the account is created.
The current signup interface includes an initial account alias.
An alias is an account-level identifier used by the Ackaia identity system. It should not be confused with a product-specific filename, CipherDrive vault name, subscription name, or cryptographic key.
Follow the instructions presented by Ackaia ID.
The exact later steps can change as Ackaia improves registration, verification, security, and regional requirements. For that reason, this article does not hard-code fields that are not currently documented as permanent requirements.
Ackaia may require reasonable verification, fraud-prevention, security, or recovery checks during or after registration when needed to protect accounts and services.
A registration can also be refused or restricted when required by law, security controls, eligibility rules, or Ackaia's Terms.
Under Ackaia's current General Terms, you generally need to be at least 13 years old unless a product or the law where you live establishes a higher minimum age.
If local law requires parental or guardian involvement, those requirements also apply.
Your Ackaia ID can be used to authenticate with participating Ackaia products, subject to each product's availability and access requirements.
Creating the identity does not automatically create every possible product entitlement or paid subscription.
keep your contact and recovery information current;
protect your password and other authentication methods;
protect recovery codes or passkeys where available;
protect trusted devices and active sessions;
report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Only create or sign in to an Ackaia ID through official Ackaia interfaces. Do not enter account credentials into links or forms you do not trust.
