Managing Your Ackaia ID

Your Ackaia ID is the shared identity and account used to authenticate with participating Ackaia services.

Account management can include maintaining your identity information, contact and recovery information, security settings, active sessions, and other account-level preferences made available by Ackaia ID.

What belongs to your Ackaia ID?

Depending on the features currently available to your account, Ackaia ID may maintain information such as:

What does not belong to the identity layer?

Product-specific information remains the responsibility of the relevant product.

For example, CipherDriveâ„¢ files, folders, encrypted object data, product-specific settings, and user-controlled cryptographic material are not simply part of your Ackaia ID profile.

Keeping your account information current

Ackaia's General Terms require account information to be accurate, current, and complete, and require users to keep contact and recovery information current.

If Ackaia ID provides a control for the information you need to change, use the account-management interface shown to you. If a particular field cannot be changed through the available controls, contact Ackaia Support rather than creating a replacement identity solely to work around the limitation.

Security-sensitive changes

Some account changes may require additional verification or may be temporarily restricted when Ackaia detects elevated security, fraud, recovery, or account-integrity risk.

Ackaia may use reasonable identity and security checks before allowing a sensitive account change.

Account management and product access

Changing account-level information does not necessarily change product data, subscriptions, organization memberships, or product permissions.

Likewise, changing a product-specific setting does not necessarily change your Ackaia ID profile.

Ackaia ID is the shared account boundary. Individual products still maintain their own product-specific data and state.
