Managing Connected Apps on Your Ackaia ID

Applications that use Ackaia ID can request authorization to connect to your account.

You can review the applications connected to your Ackaia ID from the Connected apps area of your account.

Open Connected apps

  1. Sign in to your Ackaia ID.

  2. Open https://id.ackaia.com/account/apps.

  3. Review the applications currently connected to your account.

  4. Select the application you want to inspect.

Review an application's access

The Connected apps page lets you review the relationship between your Ackaia ID and an application that has been authorized to use it.

When reviewing an application, pay attention to the access or permissions shown for that connection. Only keep applications connected when you recognize them and still intend to use them with your Ackaia ID.

Disconnect an application

  1. Open Connected apps.

  2. Select the application you want to remove.

  3. Use the available option to revoke or remove the application's access.

  4. Confirm the action if Ackaia ID asks you to do so.

After access is revoked, the application should no longer be able to use that authorization to access your Ackaia ID.

What disconnecting an app does not do

If you want to delete product data, cancel a subscription, or close a product-specific relationship, use the controls provided by that product separately.

If you do not recognize an application

  1. Remove or revoke its access.

  2. Review the security settings for your Ackaia ID.

  3. Review active or recent sessions if that information is available to you.

  4. Change or strengthen your authentication credentials if you suspect unauthorized access.

  5. Enable multifactor authentication if it is not already enabled.

  6. Contact Ackaia Support if you believe your account may have been compromised.

Only keep applications connected when you recognize them and still need them. Removing an application's authorization is a useful security step, but it is not the same as deleting the application's product data.
